Today is my graduation day! 
I am excited because I am the best graduating pupil of the year.
I am also happy because I made my Mum happy.
Yes, that’s the only thing that makes her happy about me.
She has been planning for my graduation since last month.
Daddy won’t be attending since he is busy working to provide for the family.
But I wish he comes around.

“Now we are calling on Jemima Jones to come forward and give her valedictory speech”.

says the MC

“Aww, I am proud of you Jemima.
Hey, my name is Miss Hephz, Hephzibah Daniels.
I am Jemima’s teacher and I will be the commentator for today.
Jemima has told me many things about her family.
However, I am yet to conclude on what made Jemima a grumpy girl”.

Jemima walks down the podium with aura.
She is a very brilliant girl.  

Miss Hephz: Oh! That’s Mrs Jones, she is walking to the podium with her daughter.
Wait a minute! what is she going there to do?
Oops! she has collected the microphone from the MC’s hand.
Can you imagine?

Hi everyone, I am Jemima’s mother. I am so excited that I can’t hide my joy. I want to advise all the parents here today, especially mothers. You see, Jemima’s father is not always at home. I single-handedly raised my children. They are three; James, Jemima and my little baby, Janet……

Excuse me Madam, can you please give Jemima the microphone? Mr Donald, our Headteacher said.
